Pleasant small hotel with really kind staff. Airy, spotless rooms with flatscreen TV as well as balcony, favourable setting. Fine check in, fair prices. Late check out.
Very dated bathroom.

Hotel location
The main criterion for booking a hotel in December with children was that it should have an indoor swimming pool and when we arrived at the hotel we found that it had been under construction since November 11 and was going to be long, we were told. We made the reservation on November 20th so we find it unacceptable that this fact was not informed when making the reservation. Also, on the morning of December 5th I called the hotel to inform them that we would be late and we were not told anything and when we arrived they told us that they had called us that day to warn us, which also makes no sense if I had been working since November 11th. To try to compensate we were offered free parking which seems to us at least a detail, but it does not compensate at all for the lowered expectations of the hotel stay. We think it is a big mistake on the part of the hotel not to inform that the indoor pool is temporarily not working because the expectations of spending a few days with children change radically.

Everything. From the friendliness of the reception staff, facilities (classic style but very well maintained). Cleanliness. Room service. swimming pool and areas to sunbathe and rest. SPA (except for the above mentioned to let the children camp as if it were a village swimming pool). parking is very comfortable, with wide spaces, VERY CHEAP. buffet is very enjoyable and varied. In general the hotel is very very good. the workers help a lot.
There's practically nothing negative. it's a pity they let children in the SPA without any control. 4-star hotel at a price of approximately 160/170e per night cannot have a RELAXATION place that looks like a village swimming pool. They just wouldn't let you in, they would jump in, swim like in a pool, scream. parents laughed and staff didn't even show up at all. Pretty sad, considering that the outside pool was totally empty and kids were acting up inside. Anyway, if I may never set foot in the hotel again, it's only because of this. rest of it and whoever doesn't mind is absolutely great.

Loved my very very good stay on a subsequent visit. The breakfast was hot with omelette station, an egg chef preparing omelettes, the usual cereal, and the pool bar was a plus. Had perfect and nice location basically in the center, right by a public library.

The proximity to the town and the relaxed attitude around the hotel.
It is ridiculus for a hotel of the ststus of the Ville Gale to be charging for WIFI access. It is freely available around the corner and in the main square.

I stayed here for four nights, and the room was super cozy with a walk-in shower and nice coffee facilities, just what I needed! The outdoor pool and spa area were great for unwinding after a long day, but the room could get a bit noisy from the nearby elevator. Definitely recommend choosing a quieter room away from the hustle and bustle! 😊

We spent two enjoyable nights in a lovely room. The breakfast buffet offered delicious options, and we appreciated the helpful staff, especially at the indoor pool area. A highlight was the local St John Festival fireworks. Consider arriving during festivities for a vibrant experience!
